We purchased this because I began working from home and I needed a desk that would be as functional as my space in the office. The desk is sturdy, the finish is beautiful and true to the photos, and I have plenty of room for my files and supplies.

A nice desk (hard to find today) and well made. The cable holes are not usefully placed, however, and it is unclear how one could actually hide the cables, since the arrangement of holes inside the desk is really not convenient, and most computers and peripherals do not come with long enough wires to use these. It would have been nice to have had one of the shallow drawers already set with dividers. The desk is heavy and needs care in placing it into position. A very nice solid piece of furniture.

I like this desk, it's a good quality. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the holes for the wires and in a strange spot and I have yet to figure out how to thread the cord through to where I can grab it at the other end. It seems to drop down into a dark hole behind the drawer but there must be a way to get at it without having to dismantle the drawer.

Love this! Very professional, only needed to add a glass top because I was afraid I'd scratch it.
