The chair itself is fairly comfortable with a very straight back which I like BUT the gold is over the top. It is bright as another reviewer wrote- but my issue is that it is sloppily done. It makes it look used and cheap

Beautiful material, but much bulkier than on the picture. I was expecting something more refined.

Gorgeous chairs. Received lots of compliments as they greatly enhance the living room area. Elegant and timeless.

The chair looks more Egyptian than British Colonial. I intend to tone down the gold with some antiquing gel to make it more rich looking. Cons: Pricey!!!!
