This is definitely solid wood, and I love how you can see the grain. I got it for my daughter‘s makeup vanity. The curved seat is very comfortable and she feels very sturdy in it. I would recommend this stool. It could have many uses came put together.

Beautiful and sturdy bench for bedroom, bathroom or wherever. Looks great with my walnut dressing table and doubles as a place to store my hand mirror, lotion and hair brush next to my bed when not being used at the dressing table! Would definitely buy again!!
