Fauteuil inclinable manuel en velours côtelé avec dossier à oreilles Ameiah

We ordered the Ameiah Manual Recliner in oatmeal. I wanted a neutral color to go with my family room sofa and accent chairs, and I also like the feel of corduroy fabric. Another one of my needs was for a chair that could accommodate my husband's big and tall size, which this does. Finally, this chair is extremely firm!!! If you have someone in your family who has a bad back, this is the chair for you. Our son has a bad back, so he requires a chair where he doesn't sink into the cushions...this Ameiah recliner fits all those needs.

Easy breezy to set up. Came in 2 pieces you literally just slide the back into place! The box is big and heavy but I was able to fit in my (standard front door) sideway by myself. This is perfect for smaller space and small adults! The sides are definitely not for leaning on. You’ll lean yourself right over to the floor. The color is very nice! Not too dark not to light. Material is very soft! Seat is a little firm, reclines easily. *****Update to my review, I’ve had it for 3 months now and it has become my favorite chair in the house. It’s a little firm, but comfortable. My only complaint is the arms they are almost flat, but I keep 2 pillows on there for the feel of the regular recliner arms. I’m only 5’3, this is not for tall people! My lab and I fit comfortably.

Did not like the corduroy material.

Smaller than imagined. Arm rests aren’t really arm rests because they are so low. Hard and not comfortable. Back of chair is small compared to the height of a persons head.

The green corduroy is soft and comforting to the touch. I am "vertically challenged" so it's the right size for me. I do agree w/another reviewer who noted the arms are a bit too low, but I use small throw pillows so it's okay, and not enough to outweigh the good stuff about this chair. Both the reclined and upright positions are comfortable for me. It's hard to buy a chair like this "sight-unseen" but I took a chance and am happy w/my purchase.
