The product was ready to put together alone, taking just about two hours. The only time you'll need a 2nd person (unless you're a strong 6'4 person) is when stacking the two pieces on top of each other. But otherwise the instructions are very clear and each part numbered to make the job easy. The cabinet itself isn't bad. It's a bit flimsy due to the fact the wooden dowels are often going in holes too big for them, so there's either not a study connection or only a very tiny amount is held in the connecting piece. The handles are also kind of trash, so for me I'll be replacing them, and the product would be much better with either more shelves, or at least the ability to add more myself, as if you need to add a few more the cost ends up being almost equal to a similar swedish made cabinet.
