Well, it was a haul to put together using only the tools provided. However, it is a substantial piece with TONS of storage room and quality materials. The border where the black coating meets the edges doesnt look like it will hold up as well over time (I wouldnt be surprised if it starts liftingchipping around the adhesion sites), but it sure is beautiful now and the walnut pieces are gorgeous. Start to finish, it took me about 4 hours to assemble, but I only needed my husband to help me move it into place. Regardless, its absolutely fantastic, Im overall really happy with the heft and the look, and it fits about twice as much as my last bookshelf with the same dimensions. Very happy to have picked this one!

Let me start by saying this is a very beautiful cabinet that calls attention to itself in the room. It's got a unique design and lots of areas where you can hide messy things and display books, sculptures or whatever. It's made of compressed wood but it's heavy and not flimsy at all. There are 54 steps in the assembly and it does get tedious. You'll need a second person when mounting the top part of the cabinet on the bottom. After everything, I'm a little disappointed because the drawer tracks were really bad quality. They are very clunky opening and closing. I requested replacement tracks but that's a very annoying thing to happen. Even if they replace them, the quality of the tracks is very low. The best thing might be to go to the hardware store and buy new ones. Other than that, it's a beautiful, very heave cabinet. It comes in 2 boxes and will take about 4 hours to put together.

This Bookcase is very stylish and modern and well structured for organization. Has cubbies for books/magazines or records. It has four drawers, two of which have nice sturdy metal rods for hanging files. It has two compartments with doors too. Dark walnut wood and black combo. It came in 2 boxes and the instruction manual was a book! many, many pieces and took 5 hours to assemble but it was worth it!
