Love these cabinets very roomy

Seems like a solid build for what it is. I only knocked it down some stars because of the color difference between the door framestoe kick and the rest of the cabinet.

NOT SOLID WOOD AS ADVERTISED! Very Disappointed! I gave only 1 star because of false advertising. I selected this cabinet because the title and product description indicates that this cabinet is “solid wood”. In reality it is MDF (medium density fiberboard) with a thin layer of fake wood grain printed melamine surface. The only part that is “solid wood” is the handles, and even they are finger jointed- how tacky! Even though the panels are a manufactured material, the color of the trim on the door panels doesn’t even match the center panel color tone. The small screws that hold the door hinges on the side panels (set into the soft MDF core) seem unlikely to hold up well over time with frequent opening and closing of doors.

Love this cabinet my husband has it in his office looks great with the rest of his furniture! The doors are soft close!!

*Warning at the End* This is a beautiful cabinet that we're using to store homeschool material in behind our dining table. They look nice, the height is great for a side table / buffet table if desired, the black hides the flying food and knicks from the toddlers, and overall they're very sturdy. We modified them with magnetic locks with great effect. My warning, however, is that these are not solid wood (if the description still says that), but engineered wood. This is not a problem, per se, but an expectation adjustment. Additionally, I made adjustments (drilled holes, fabricated pieces) during assembly to help make it a smooth process. Nothing crazy, but adjust expectations. These are fantastic value for the price. I would buy them again.
