Nice and sturdy bench. The fabric is described as boucle, but I’d say it’s more of a chenille/ velvet. It is a matte fabric, not a shiny cheap looking velvet. I purchased the tan which is a classic natural beige or very light taupe. It’s neutral to cool toned. You can see in the photo the tone compared to my white oak floors. The hinge opens smoothly, and stays open until you close it.

Loved the bench! Its large and spacious. The only thing I absolutely hated was the smell it came with! I thought it was just the cardboard box, but even after vacuuming and cleaning it with disinfectant, the strong smell persists. I’m not sure what it is... maybe from being stored for too long, or animal droppings I didnt see anything inside or outside, but the odor is extremely foul and still hasnt gone away. I still dont know what Im going to do about it. Because this is 3stars

Absolutely love my purchase. Easy to assemble, very sturdy, love that it has storage. Definitely a great buy!

Great for extra storage and I like the look of it.

Beautiful and holds a lot! So so soft and very sturdy. Will last for years.
