Box arrived yesterday. Ordered it last wednesday arrived the following Monday - fast ! Long box had a heavy package warning - "team carriers recommended". They weren't kidding. Had to remove pieces from box one at a time to bring inside - have pieces laid out but not assembled yet. Wood is very solid - quite beautiful acacia - varied grain but warm and I freaking love it. Asssmbly looks daunting but not cause of complex design. Not at all. It's the weight - we are going to give it a whirly whirl after we set a wide floor space for the deed. Will post pic if possible after submitting this review. . .

Each piece cracked or broke upon the Wayfair serviceperson putting it together. It looks beautiful but it almost literally crumbling.

Shelf is overall very solid and beautiful. My package was open box and showed up with some damage and missing hardware but Wayfair customer service did a good job dealing with the situation quickly. The shelf did take a while to assemble and some elbow grease to do alone. Once completed though, it’s clear that it’s going to stand the test of time.

The wood is nice, but the build quality is very poor. Several holes were drilled in the wrong place or off center and needed to be manually widened or re-drilled entirely. Once assembled the screws needed to be manually tightened and retightened very carefully to get it level level. Front supports were ~1/16th inches shorter than the back so it does not stand steadily and required a shim. In addition, the manufacturer did not include all the screws in the instructions either. Ultimately not worth the hassle and would strongly recommend buying something else.
