Pretty easy to assemble overall, but there are a few issues that really disappointed me. The instructions indicate that additional screws should be added to the bottom, but the holes don’t align, so those screws can’t actually be installed. The bookcase is also very wobbly, which is concerning since we’re using it to store our children’s books. I would expect something like this to feel much more sturdy and secure. The wood has a glossy finish, which I personally don’t care for. I also misunderstood the design on the top when I purchased it. I thought the pattern was etched or carved into the wood, or at least a sticker that would actually adhere to the top, but it’s actually a very cheap-looking gold foil doily that simply sits on top. Overall, the bookcase is cute in concept, but the quality and stability are not what I expected.

Perfect sized for a toddler room. The natural wood is beautiful and looks a lot more expensive than the actual price tag.
