Easy to put together and quite sturdy. I stacked several to make a wall unit for my pantry and it is wonderful.

One of the only bookcase solutions for the space I have, I would have continued looking for something else but pickings were slim. It's solid wood, but it's very soft pine and unfinished, so it's perfect if you want to stain it yourself. Wood so soft that my kid already broke one of the shelves. Kids are hard on things, but I didn't think it would snap clean in half so soon. I'm going to try and fix it instead of returning it, knowing how nortoriously difficult returns on Wayfair are. Consider something else if you have kids and/or are worried about easily nicking it.

This item is acceptable as an unfinished piece. My issue is that it was described as new and the item we received was used.

This is what I expected solid wood no mdf no smell. Love it.

Assembly instructions rather vague. Instructions on how to install rubber feet nonexistent. It took me quite a while and I had to guess I don’t know what the sand paper was for? Am I supposed to stain and paint it?
