Does it look nice? Mostly, yes. The instructions are vague on a few spots where specificity would have saved time and fastening things, like drawer railings.
First and foremost - I'm fairly handy, I can do basic carpentry and framing, I've assembled a dozen or similar manufactured wood products, this took me 3 hours to unpack, sort parts, and assemble. With 3 errors I had to fix, luckily, they were early enough for minimal impact.
The measurements and dimensions on my unit were off, the bottom drawer won't fit and the top is too narrow - you can't assemble the drawers in the wrong dimensions, so this is a factory measurement issue. Many of the dowels are odd lengths and barely add the support they should. The amount of spare parts will give anyone anxiety who's trying to figure out where they might have misplaced something.
There's a few holes places that doesn't have corresponding parts, again the extra parts with no holes and holes with no parts (or instructions pertaining to them) cause some anxiety.
For the price - I'm disappointed, it's on the higher side of desks in this category and there aren't any features that make this a standout. But, it is a desk, and aside from drawers that neither fit nor function, it looks decent.
