I searched for a reasonably priced white desk that was balanced even on both sides. Some had drawers on 1 side just a skinny panel or leg for the other side. This one was even and simple clean look. I like the file cabinet drawers are useful good size drawers to use. The middle drawer is a little small, but lots of space for your child to use. The file cabinet (5 drawers) is also detachable if you want to use it for something else like a night stand. I wanted the desk balanced. I wish it was real wood, but I also didnt pay for real wood. Overall this is a nice desk for a teenager. My daughter loves it does her homework. I may eventially buy a glass top for it.

I am so pleased with this desk. Notice the 4" "bump-out" in the wall between the lamp and the mirror. With this 2 separate piece desk, I can place them side by side without an issue. Originally, I thought I only had space for the main desk, but because they are 2 separate pieces, they look good together and for a small cost I have 5 extra drawers to use.

I assembly this desk on my own. It took a couple of hours because it was only me. I read, the instructions and it wasn't hard at all. I actually like this table. I'm using it for my study area in my bedroom.

Difficult to assemble as tiny numbers on things and instructions with tiny difficult to see illustrations. But one assembled it’s a very sturdy desk with lots of storage.

Nice desk! I did return because the color didn't match my existing furniture.
