Incredibly cheap construction for a $400 piece. The most astonishingly low-rent thing in my view is that the door and drawer pulls are made of plastic! The instructions had procedural errors in them, the hardware was mis-packed (too many of some fasteners and not enough of others), and there were scratches and chips on the laminate. It's not total garbage, but it's extremely chintzy.
