Canapé convertible à dossier serré, noir

It's a very functional sofa at a great price. However very uncomfortable to sit on and sleep on. With a mattress topper its tolerable.

We ordered this sofa for our office - we are a birth center. It goes great in our multi-purpose room and since the sofa is convertible, works well for when we need to have someone there just for a few hours without being admitted for IV infusion or if in labor but not quite ready to be admitted. Looks great and very functional!

Couch is matching pictures. This couch came packaged in a big box. Delivery team was not able to get it in my designated room due to tight corners and hall way. I had to unpackage it myself and carry it to the room with my wife. Not an easy task for two not so young anymore people.

This sofa is built very well. I had no issues with assembly. The sofa is heavy so at least two people are needed to carry it up/down stairs. And it is a bit awkward because the main seat is attached to the platform and cannot be disassembled for easier transport. It is easy to switch from sofa to bed but does require a small clearance from the wall (about 8"). If it smelled like leather, it would be tough to tell it isn't. Stitching is excellent. Perhaps the back of the sofa could have a better presentation. And because of this, I would not recommend it be placed in the center of the room. I like it and it suits our purpose. And I would buy again. We got a nice price as well.

So far, love the sofa. Very little assembly required, needed to install the arms and screw in the legs. However instructions were missing. The arms were stuck in the under seat storage area.
