This sectional was easy to assemble. The fabric has a nice soft feel to it. The bottom seating was much too firm, it didn't give at all when sitting on it for 2 hours. The back cushions were very comfortable. The back support of the sectional would not hold steady when leaned back on. It would be better when pushed against a wall. The included stand alone ottoman is sturdy. The feet included with this set are plastic. After 3 days of trying to get used to this sectional we decided it wasn't for us. Returning it required taking it apart and putting it in original packaging. There are no local warehouses available in our area. This would mean paying to send it back to the tune of a few hundred dollars on top of the $585.00 we paid for it a few days prior to delivery. Our only alternative is to donate it to our local homeless shelter. If you prefer extremely firm seating this is the sectional for you.
