Easy to assemble and a little stiff to seat in at first however they are comfortable once you seat in them for a few minutes.

This is a great chair, it comes in a huge box. It came almost fully assembled in the box all you have to do is attach the top to the bottom with tools included. Rotating bottom is smooth with firm seating and thick but smooth fabric.
