While the piece is good quality, I focused more on the look I wanted and less on the construct. It is more of a hammock style and not something I can use in my living room to host guests.

I ordered a pair of these, and initially they were fine. They went together about as easily as most DIY furniture assembly, and look great. However, after a couple of months use, they started to fall apart. The reason is the fastening system. The chair pieces are held together by bolts that go into the ends of various tubes. Inside the tube, there's a sort of nut, and that nut is held in by friction alone. So after using the chair, the nut starts to slide outwards, and eventually comes out completely. The disconnected piece has to be reconnected. I did this by using a hammer to pound the nut back in, but it's sure to come out again unless I make some additional modifications to the chair. One possibility is to braze the nut in place. There are a couple of other possible fixes, but none of them are within the scope of the average buyer's skill set. Because of this defect, I cannot recommend these chairs.

This chair is so comfy and super easy to put together. Instructions were a breeze. Everything labeled as it should be. It is very sturdy. Love the black legs with brown leather accent. Also love the storage pocket on the chair arm.

We are very happy with our new chair! Our cats love it too, it’s now their favorite place to nap. The one thing that I have found is the chair is a deep seat, so it can be a little harder to get out of. Overall, very comfortable.
