Cheap quality of materials

Overall quality of the item and design is lacking in some areas. The assembly is not super easy given how large the item is and the steps you need to do. The parts don't fit well together. For example, the extendable counter top hinges don't fit flush against the side, and required me to source new bolts and spacers to get it to line up and mount flush. Various design elements like this are not well thought out. I would give it 4 stars if it weren't for the hinges not mounting properly requiring a fix and extra hardware that was not included.

I love this island!! So much storage!! And the power strip is awesome!! The color of the countertop didn’t work so I wrapped it with a peel stick marble look countertop vinyl paper. I added a couple small L brackets underneath the drop leaf because I intend to use it in the extended position. I am very happy with this island!

Not sure how deliveries are planned. I ordered two of these islands. They were together as far as locations until the first one was delivered. I live in Idaho. The second one was delivered a week later. It went from CA to NV to Chicago to PA to UT and finally here. I won't have time to open it for a few days. But the package is wrapped in plastic with a lot of tape. Looks like it has had a rough shipment. I hope all is well when we open it and assemble.

Much needed, lovely addition, the cabinets were slightly off so they don’t close as easily as they should.
