Great little shelf. Perfect for what I needed and easy to put together. Have had it for a while now and it’s still holding up well!

Where to start? Arrived with multiple cracks through the shelf and multiple large scuffs. Aside from damage, the shelves are cheaply made, the shelves are not full depth but thin pieces of bamboo (think cardboard thickness) stapled (maybe also glued?) to a bamboo frame. I have trouble believing it would take a full load of books without further damage. On the other hand the legs seem fine. Overall it looks fine from a couple feet away but the second you look close you see cut corners. I'm not expecting the world for something inexpensive, but at ~$100 for a small bookcase I do expect better. Maybe at half the price (and better quality control) it'd be worth looking at to tide you over for a few years until you have to replace it. 2 stars because the return policy is good and they include gloves in the box for some reason.

When you take a step back, the color and finish of this bamboo is a strong substitute for a natural pine look. Holes line-up. All hardware present. Solid and true build. Easy assembly and tool provided. No feet provided. Some manufacturing glue work is sloppy in places. Dimensions for this 5-shelf unit were true to expectations. Weak packing, but this unit survived shipping. Sustainable, earth-friendly material with the bamboo. Overall score: 5-stars.

Lightweight and flexible; we use it in our children's room for their display items. It's nice that it holds things but doesn't feel like it takes up too much space.
