I like the high back for a headrest, and it seems to be solid enough. Time will tell how long it last.

I purchased this recliner to aid in my recovery after abdominal surgery, as I knew it would be more comfortable to sleep in a reclined position rather than on a pile of pillows in bed. While it worked well for me, being 50, I should note that its better suited for shorter individuals. My husband, who is 61, found the chair far too small for him. If youre looking for a recliner to relax and sink into after a long day, this isnt the right choice. The seat lacks adequate cushioning, especially for extended use, though I found that placing a pillow under me helped. Additionally, the recliner wont stay in a napping position. It slowly returns to an upright position no matter what I do. For these reasons, I give this manual recliner two stars out of five.

This chair is SO comfy, easy to assemble, at fits any type of decoration. We’re using it in our study, but it could go in a bedroom, sitting room, living room or anywhere in between. Material feels high quality and the recliner goes all the way back for a perfect napping chair! Can’t wait to take a nap in this recliner!
