Overall this is a fantastic kitchen cart! very useful especially for small spaces and can expand on the top for a larger surface. the only thing is that it came in with quite a few scratches on the bar and also one of the pieces fully broke off but i was able to get a replacement unit. just be warned, the box is super heavy lol

3/5--difficult to assemble, practical once assembled. Heavy and large package. Arrives completely disassembled with many thin foam buffer panels to minimize bumps and scrapes (successful!). Many, many parts--roughly 60 pieces of hardware and 70 pieces of wood (most composite) panels. It took me several sessions to fully assemble. The instructions were usually straightforward, though multi-step. My two major issues came with how the sliders for the drawers were to be installed (be sure to line them up by sight before committing to their order/direction) and the top drawer (I'm convinced the manufacturer drilled the preset holes incorrectly, so I had to improvise with two metal braces to attach the front panel to the sides of the drawer). It's a sturdy island once constructed otherwise; I like the extra storage and countertop space it provides once assembled. The wood top looks great! Again, in terms of functionality and style, I think it's worth the price, but the assembly process (duration, inaccuracies in the top drawer construction) bring down the star rating.
