Nice sturdy (enough) island with enough storage to hold my KitchenAid Stand Mixer (14-cup; 6 gallon). The drop leaf is held up by locking arm in the middle of the leaf. The locking arm is sturdy and won’t collapse under pressure (you have to reach under the leaf and push in on the locking arm to get it to collapse). However, the edges of the drop leaf aren’t supported. So it’ll hold a bit of weight at the edges (plates, glasses) but I don’t think a person can rest their elbows and lean on it. Overall, the was an excellent option for my space. Saved me money (custom island would’ve been thousands of dollars). Arrived pretty quickly (no damage) and was pretty easy to assemble (though not quick). Locking wheels do hold the unit in place (unless you really push on it or try to lean upon it).

I purchased this for my craft room. Easy to put together alone. I love the folding top. The brakes on the wheels make it very convenient for when I need a larger space to work in

I love the Kitchen Island in navy, and it goes perfectly with my white kitchen. Unfortunately, it has a 10" crack in the all wood top. I would of returned it if it hadn't been the last thing to put together. Too much hassle to take apart and send it back. If it wasn't for the crack, I would of given it a 5 star rating.
