What is not immediately clear from the listing is that the slide out shelf both does not sit flush to the bookshelf, and has two entirely different sized faces. This is designed to sit against a wall and requires that the drawer be pulled out from the left side of the shelf. Just in general it is poorly designed and kind of ugly.

It is super cute!! Just like pictured and good quality. it was a challenge to put together! Price is reasonable compared to similar products!

I am handyman and assemble all kind of furniture all the time . This shelf is above average for assembly. Instructions are not clear .
