Extremely Disappointed — Product Photos Are Very Misleading I spent a great deal of time choosing this bed specifically because of the design shown in Wayfair’s product photos. The main selling point for me was the three-sided upholstered surround that clearly extends well ABOVE the mattress, creating the comfortable, enclosed sofadaybed feel shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, the actual bed looks nothing like that once a normal queen mattress is installed. My mattress is only 12 inches thick, yet it comes almost all the way to the top of the side arms and leaves very little of the upholstered back above the mattress. The beautiful deep, enclosed “nook” shown repeatedly in the listing photos simply does not exist with my mattress. I’ve included photos of the actual assembled bed so shoppers can compare them with Wayfair’s listing photos. The difference is striking. This is especially frustrating because this wasn’t a minor aesthetic detail—it was THE reason I selected this particular bed. I spent hours comparing beds before choosing this one based on how the mattress and upholstered surround were represented in the product photography. The frame itself may be perfectly functional, but I feel seriously misled by the way this product was presented. Had the listing included an accurate photo showing the bed with a standard 12-inch queen mattress, I would not have purchased it. Very disappointing experience.
