The bed looked great at first glance but unfortunately came with a couple of problems: 1. No instructions in the package - thankfully wayfair was quick with their customer support and emailed me a copy that they were able to get from the designer company. 2. It is majority wood and unfortunately not sturdy. The center wood line that is supposed to hold up the bed and keep it balanced, broke off less than six months after purchase. In addition with it being wood, a lot of splinters were caught in our fingers. 3. The building process took a while as most of the wooden boards came without pre made holes (the instructions showed and said there are pre made holes) My biggest advice is to look for beds that are made out of metal and have a metal bottom support.
