I’ve made a handful of Wayfair purchases over the past years and never had regrets but this is easily the worst choice. Once I opened this, I knew this wasn’t what I wanted but it would’ve cost me to return it and I figured I should give it a shot instead of writing it off right away. Trust your gut! You get what you pay for. I got this because it fit the dimensions of a dining table I got. The look of it is cheap. It looks like someone took a bad screenshot of wood paneling and used it as the “finish” to this bench. If it were a standalone bench, I’d throw it away altogether but it looks ok with the rest of my dining set. However, the main complaint is that the cheap wood this is made of is very noticeable. I’ve only sat on it once and I’m genuinely concerned to sit on it. Definitely can’t have two people on it without collapsing. I spent so much time putting this together and you can clearly hear the whole bench just snap, crackle, and pop with any weight put on it whatsoever. This was never the prettiest bench but I thought it would be functional, and now I don’t even want to have guests over because I’m concerned for them sitting on this.
