Perfect for my small officegym

I was very pleasantly surprised by this desk. I picked the green option, so I didn’t encounter the frustration other reviewers picking the brown option noted about the color being different than expected. The build quality FAR exceeded what I expected at this price point the wood is heavy, the pre-drilled holes were straight and correctly spaced, and the finish had no imperfections. Even the drawers went in completely straight, and that virtually never happens with low-cost furniture. (Admittedly, I was VERY careful when installing all the rails.) To be aware of (1) desk part does not connect physically to chest of drawers but rests upon the chest of drawers. Feels perfectly sturdy to me, but ymmv. (2) desk surface is fairly high, so make sure that works with your chair. (3) a couple of cam holes are partially obstructed after you put on drawer rails, so make sure to drop the cams in there before putting on rails (they still turn with the provided screwdriver when obstructed but cannot be inserted when the holes are obstructed). (4) at least on my version, the instructions are wrong about where to put the rails on one side of Piece 14 (both sides should have rails flush with the front of the drawer holes). If you know this going in, it’s easy to fix.

I am very disappointed with this purchase. I ordered this computer desk based on the photos and color shown on the Wayfair website, but the desk I received is a completely different color. I understand that manufacturers may have slight variations in color, but this is not a minor difference—it is a totally different finish from what was advertised. Unfortunately, my husband assembled the desk while I was at work as a surprise. When I came home, I immediately noticed that it was not the color I had ordered. At that point, it was already assembled, making the situation even more frustrating. I believe the product listing is misleading and does not accurately represent the item being sold. Customers should be able to trust that the product they receive will closely match the description and photos. This experience has been very disappointing, and I hope Wayfair reviews this listing to ensure future customers are not misled.

I love this desk. My only complaint is that it is taller than I thought it would be, but with a slightly taller chair, it’s perfect. I noticed some of the previous reviews said the hardware for assembly was cheap- I thought so too at first then realized I wasn’t following directions and the hardware was not what I was used to assembling furniture with and I hadn’t used it correctly.

Much darker than picture shows and was missing a bracket for one of the drawers. Seems okay otherwise.
