We ordered this small table for someone to be able to have a surface to work on, place a drink, or to eat from while sitting comfortably on the sofa. It does this indeed. You can change the height so it works for whatever height is comfortable for the use and the person. Changing the height only involves turning two large screws - loosening, then raising the pole, then tightening. You can also tilt the top flat piece so it's angled for reading, it comes with a raised edge, so the item will not fall off. This table works really well for all these uses. The only thing it lacks is wheels! We move it around all the time, and wheels make so much sense. It was a tad difficult to put together -- the pole piece that has the two turn-wheels was a bit hard to figure out from the diagram. I eventually got it!

The table once put together was as pictured. The problem was it came with instructions that were not clear. After contacting customer support I was sent clearer instructions and was able to complete assembly. Be careful in tightening up the screws so they don’t come through the wood. I wasn’t overly impressed by the table and wouldn’t recommend it.

The perfect computer stand for next to my chair! A simple assembly process, except when they ask for Part D screws for top attachment, they were too long and went all the way through the wood!! They included 4 extra part J screws , which were the perfect length, so someone needs to check this out! I glued the wood back down and it’s hardly noticable I love the stand !!

We are using this C-side table as a small guest book sign-in table as you enter our home, and it has been the perfect fit! At its maximum height, it makes a great little “greeter” without taking up much space, and the size is just right for holding our guest book. We plan to have family and friends visit throughout the holidays, and we love that this table will give us a special place to capture and preserve those memories for years to come. The wood has a beautiful neutral oak finish with a light, natural grain, and the tabletop has a subtle sheen that gives it a nice finished look. Assembly was easy overall, although I do think the instructions could have been a little clearer. Once assembled, however, it is exactly what we were looking for—simple, functional, attractive, and the perfect size for our entryway guest book.
