The bed was fairly easy to put together by myself. However, its a bit tricky getting some of the Allen head screws to start the thread. Also when putting headboard and footboard pieces in between the side pieces its easy for them to slide around until you get them started and I ended up scratching a piece due to that. So the finish seems to scratch easily. I took off a star for that and the fact that the instructions arent very clear as to the way the U pieces should connect with the A pieces. You can actually connect it two different ways. The correct hole side of the U piece isnt depicted in the instructions (step 1 and 3). The slats (H) dont all seat well in the slots. They do work, just a bit stiff and not well fitted. Also, as shown in the pictures where the frame attaches to the headboard and footboard the bottom screw is uncovered. I dont know if this is a manufacturing defect or design flaw. There is a third hole in the bracket but it doesnt align with the headfootboard holes so this open hole leaves a screw exposed on both endsboth sides. For the price I think these are minor issues and overall Im happy with the purchase so far. Well see if anything changes once I get a mattress on it and it gets used. Oh, and Wayfair please fix your review settings. When I add photos it arranges them in a different order each time. Id like it to keep them in the order I add them. I was actually trying to make them follow the order of comments in my review!

DON'T BUY! See the photos. The parts are bent. The quality is a total failure. Not able to assemble it at all. I have requested Wayfair to send replacements (submitted forms and chatted with customer support twice). It has been a few days and I am still waiting! The replacement parts are not even shipped (The UPS tracking just says "Label Created"). The vendor and Wayfair are not helpful at all in this case. We are just waiting for this stupid bed/replacement parts to move into our new apartment. This ruined our move-in experience.
