The coffee table itself is beautiful. The quality of the materials was better than expected. The instruction booklet was lacking from step 8 on. We enjoy Tetris but the diagrams were exasperatingly difficult to tease out even with a magnifying glass! Fortunately, it wasn’t our first rodeo.

Do not buy. This is pretty in person but the lift top does not fit correctly. It will not lay flush on the left size no matter what adjustment you make. So the left side sticks up very noticeably and is slightly askew. And the assembly of the lift top was awful anyway. I already ordered the side tables from the company that match this and they arrived earlier and are already built, and the coffee table is a slightly different color than they are! Of course all these "build it yourself" manufacturers & companies, as well as Wayfair, rely on it being too much of a hassle to disassemble all the furniture, repackage it and ship it back for a refund. The hassle is 100% on customer who isn't at fault for inferior manufacturing. I'm disgusted with the junk being sold everywhere and not everyone can afford solid wood furniture from a brick and mortar store. Angry and disappointed. Oh and thanks for the 20% discount Wayfair, that in NO way actually compensates or covers, the hassle and inconvenience this total waste money has caused!

This table was difficult to assemble.

One of my favorite apartment purchases ever! This coffee table gets so many compliments, has extra storage, and also doubles for eating or doing work at the couch.

Nice table at a great price but putting it together took longer than expected.
