Beautiful, sturdy, and a great use of vertical space. The one caveat is the lack of memory on the light. It always turns on bright, which is not ideal for the bedroom. Overall a great find.

These definitely are beautiful looking. And they were packed very carefully and thoughtfully. No damage at all despite being shipped across the country by a shipper not known for gentleness. A LOT of styrofoam. Seriously. So much styrofoam. It’s made out of that pressed cardboard type material. Not a single bit of real wood in the box. I was disappointed but it still has some real heft and weight to it. So it’s more high quality than the standard stuff but still not what I was hoping for with the high price I paid. It’s a beast to put together. Not hard, just “are we there yet?” every few min. USE AN ELECTRIC SCREWDRIVER. It’s got a lot of those bolts that you screw in, but then you put a nut on the outside and twist it to hold it together. That’s fine, but the nuts aren’t high quality. I feel like they should probably be super glued or something because when I moved it from the living room to my bedroom, I lost a nut or two just from vibration. As for the size, reading dimensions helps but the that doesn’t really prepare you for how goofy it is. The nightstand part is fantastic. Pretty near perfect. I wouldn’t mind it slightly bigger in every direction, but it’s pretty good. The bookshelf is another story. You can’t really call it a bookshelf. It’s more of a tzochke shelf. When I say it’s 6 inches deep, I mean 6 inches on a good day. Mass market paperback series are too deep for this shelf. You can use it for books, but they’re going to hang over the side. If I knew, I’d probably have looked a little more fit one that had a bigger nightstand and a deeper shelf. It’s also shorter than you think. I knew that going in, but it’s still shorter than you expect. Part of my wishes the shelf part was taller, but the pair of them do look pretty perfect next to my bed. So I’m not too upset about that. We did not bother with the led lights. You need to use the usb plug on the nightstand for the led lights. I have other things that are more important to plug in. The plugs area is fantastic. I wish the outlet end of it was flat so you could put it behind furniture but it’s still pretty great. The drawers are pretty sturdy feeling but with those nuts I mentioned earlier, I’m not sure how sturdy they really are. I might have to go back and put some epoxy in every bolt hole. Over all, I really like these nightstands. The bookshelf part is poorly done but it works enough for me. The biggest criticism is the price. For the quality you’re getting, these are not worth the price. Unfortunately, these are also the closest thing to what I needed for my space, without having to build something from scratch. I’m happy with them and don’t regret my purchase, but I’m not sure if I’d buy them again.
