We love our table! 4.5/5. Shipping was very secure with a lot of buffering material. Assembly on the table was pretty straightforward - all the components are built really well and we were surprised to find how heavy duty the legs were. Be cautious tightening the bolts. We found out the hard way and madeva minor oops. When we were looking into the table the texture looked interesting; I wasn't sure how the table could both be solid wood and have that texture, but it turns out that it is solid oak with a pressed surface. The grooves are all oak - no veneer. Only thing is it's a little bit tricky to clean if there is messy food as the grooves are a little bit lower than the top of table. That's really the only downside with the table. The brass markings look beautiful but there is a little bit of stain on one that doesn't seem to come off - looks like a manufacturing blemish. Still mild but noticeable if you look closely. Overall very satisfied!
