These are very solid chairs. Minimal assembly to put together. The color is a nice medium to light brown with color variation throughout the pieces. These shipped quickly and arrived with no damage. They are just the right seat height for this slightly taller than average dining table. The curve to the seat is pretty comfortable. I dont think they will need any cushions. I do think these are very sturdy chairs and would go with many types of decor.
