I’m very disappointed in the durability of this dining set, especially considering how expensive it was. The finishveneer along the edges of the tabletop began peeling and separating relatively early on and has continued to get progressively worse. While our table is used daily by a family with children, this is well beyond the normal scratches and wear I would expect from regular use. The photos show how badly the surface material has separated from the table. The bench is also surprisingly easy to tip over, which has been an ongoing concern. The set looked beautiful when it was new, but unfortunately the quality has not held up over time. For what we paid, I expected significantly better durability.

Love this table! It's so beautiful! I didn't buy the matching chairs because I am going for a different look but the table is nice and heavy and beautiful colors.
