Exactly as shown. Velvet. Soft. The cushions top and bottom all unzip which you can wash easily. I love this couch. As a modular couch you will need a rug under it, or it WILL just slide apart, you have to make sure the pieces are locked in. Arrived in 6 boxes. One of the legs was broken in half unfortunately on one of the pieces. I just dealt with it. I didn’t want to return and pay a fee.
