I didnt have a fireplace in my home and have always had one. I love how this looks and it puts out enough heat that its actually saved me on my heating bill this winter versus last winter. It did take my son about 2 hours to put together but he actually did it all by himself. I love that it has storage! The only cautionary thing I will say is I guess I didnt read the description very well and I thought the top was some kind of marble but its wood that looks like marble however its tastefully done. I think it still looks great! I would definitely buy it again!

This is heavy and definitely need to hire someone to put it together. I had an engineer doing it and it took him almost two (2) hours assemble. It is a nice piece and adds the dark blue color I was looking for. I haven't tried the fireplace yet. The top is a black marble-like Corian with navy veining. The round corners don't seem to open for storage. Only the flat front store items, but not a lot. The only reason it's a 4-star and not 5 is because of the weight and assembly. I could not move it into the room nor assemble it by myself. But overall, it is nice.
