Wow! What a terrific bench! First of all, this bench is very sturdy and heavy. In the photos the legs look delicate and I was a little concerned about them being sturdy enough with 2 teenage boys instead of any common sense in the house. Well, the legs are steel and they bolt onto the underside steel frame of the bench! They are rock solid! The goat skin leather is fantastic! Not overly soft but it has a more durable look and feel, which is what I was going for. I have the Eloise and the color is like a very dark brown with grey/black stain around the stitching. It really looks rich. If you need a sturdy, good looking, durable bench that looks great, this is it!
