I was happy with the desk overall, but did have a scratch on top which of course I did not know until I had unpacked the item. This is the first time I purchased an item from Wayfair that was already assembled and I assumed the item would be uncrated for me that was not the case, I had to enlist the aid of a neighbor to help me and after quite a struggle we were able to get the desk unpacked and in place. For the amount I paid for the desk I will definitely NOT purchase from Wayfair and I well rely on my local furniture store in the future

Solid and well made wooden desk. Packed well inside heavy cardboard carton and delivered in good condition. Purchased the soft white finish and it's like a white-washed oak with some distressing. The fluted edges on each side of the desk were not sanded well before the finish was applied and it looks a little rough. Might just be on the desk we purchased.
