Boy, this is fun. I finally I picked the end tables I wanted for our new room to make it look roomier despite the big leather couch. They came so fast that I interrupted my other unpacking to put them together. Assembly was pretty quick once the trauma of unpacking the glass was over -- even though there were some dents and damp spots on the package the glass was in perfect shape. A couple of assembly hints -- count and organize everything in alphabetical (or numeric) order. Screw the screws only about 3/4 th of the way in at first and put the whole frame together. Then square it up in all 3 dimensions. (One screw was really hard to turn, so I filed off a burr on the tip and up the side and rubbed it on a bar of soap.) Tighten the screws most of the way as you're squaring it and put the glass in. Only then call in your husband to really tighten things up. (I'm almost 75 and have arthritic fingers -- and besides it makes him feel good to do something I can't do for myself.) My second end table had tarnish on the frame and one of the screws was missing (I counted them without opening the pack, since I didn't want to get new frame pieces and then find I was missing the final piece), Well, Wayfair responded in 45 minutes. Turned out the factory couldn't furnish parts but a new kit was sent and they told me to use or donate the one I had. More fun with assembly but it takes so little time (15 min ?) that I will have to order a more complex item. The end tables themselves are classy and big enough to balance the scale of the sofa as well as put stuff on. You can tell once you pick them up that they are not as expensive as a similar one I have in my living room ($500 25 years ago) but I can see them both from where I sit and the difference in price and quality does not show at all.
