More solid than I expected to begin with. I also used professional wood glue on each joint (the glue included was dried up).

The coffee table is just as pictured! It is extremely well built, sturdy real wood, and easy to assemble.

It is attractive, however some of the knots are rough and take away from the appearance. Top needs to be smoother. Over all we like the look and was perfect size for our space.
