If you buy this, I think getting the lighter color is probably best. After only a month of use, the dark one looks awful because the finish chips and scratches show up easily. So, if you have kids, something else would be better. Overall I’m disappointed with this bench.

I was shocked to discover how solid this bench is! Very sturdy when you sit on it and the wood tone is beautiful. It came very well packaged and took no time at all to put together. Best part! It even came with felt circle pads for the bottom of the legs. Highly recommend
