Bibliothèque WAHEY, bibliothèque ouverte à 10 cubes avec pieds, HOFB013

Came together well. Instruction booklet left a lot to be desired but it was simple enough to figure out anyway so I mostly just guessed. Labelsstickers didnt peel off the pieces very easy either. Very prone to tearing, but ultimately left no residue. Those are pretty much the only reasons I gave it less than 5 stars. Otherwise, looks great. It came with plenty of extra hardware, including tons of extra veneer stickers to cover up hardware, mistakes, chips, what have you.

The height dimension given for this bookcase was 47 inches. But this did not include the legs which added about 7 1/2 inches. This meant that the bookcase really did not fit, since I ordered it based on the height that was given in the website. Also, the bookcase delivery was very delayed compared to what they promised. Also, yet a third problem, the rear masonite piece was not inset into the frame, forming a visible brown ring around the back end of the bookcase. The masonite showing around the back of the bookcase is not terribly noticeable, but it shouldn’t be there. I think given the small number of reviews that have been published for this piece that the manufacturer is trying new products on a shoestring budget by experimenting on the public to get feedback. So I’ve learned a new rule about buying from Wayfair. Don’t buy anything unless it has received a large number of reviews. Actually, that’s just common sense.
