The bed is sold wood, but the one center slat support appeared to be glued together and not a sold piece of wood, and it is not sufficient enough for the bed, you should have at least two center slats to support the bed. I had to purchase a new center for the bed I had just purchased. was told it would be replaced free of charge; the company had me send pics and all

Beautiful bed!! Solid wood and very well made. We were replacing a bed that squeaked or wiggled every time you’d move in bed and this one is solid, doesn’t move or make noise! Looks just as pictured. Will probably be buying another one for another child. Bed was also easy to put together.

Do not buy this product. Bed recieved doesn’t have any tongues on the side boards or grooves to fit them in to on the headboard and footboard. Complained to Joss & Main (Wayfair) who said that I had to sort the issue with the manufacturer. The manufacturer has instructed Wayfair to send out 2 more side boards - which are totally useless without grooves in the headboard ! Wayfair promised to ‘stand behind me’ and sort any issues directly if I couldn’t solve them so I phoned and told them that I wished them to sort the issue. They said they couldn’t get involved as the issue looked to be resolved. This is probably the very worst customer service I have ever come accross
