Looks great and still feels sturdy after two years. I haven't needed to tighten any screws or make any adjusments.

The bed itself has a great appearance and looks very stylish in the room. However, the headboard feels somewhat flimsy. I don’t feel entirely comfortable leaning back against it, as it gives the impression that it could break with too much pressure. Since this is a king-size bed, the headboard is only supported on the right and left sides, which doesn’t feel sturdy enough. Adding a center support would make a big difference in providing extra stability and peace of mind. REVIEW UPDATE Sep 19- I bought this bed a little over a month ago, and I’m already having serious issues with it. The legs are weak and unstable — bending at an angle, which makes the whole frame feel unsafe. I expected it to last much longer than a few weeks, but the poor quality of the wood and construction is really disappointing. this frame feels cheaply made and unreliable. Definitely not worth the money OR get the insurance!

I will split the review into 2 parts: about the bed and about the Fedex delivery. The bed is good. Quite a solid base. The headboard is supported by 2 rather thin boards, and dangles. If desired, you can attach metal slats (which I will most likely do). The headboard is height-adjustable, which will allow you to adjust it depending on the height of the mattress. Assembly is easy. The delivery is disgusting. I understand that this is a oversized product and difficult to deliver. But nevertheless. The box was badly dented and had several holes in it. There are several dents on the headboard (picture attached). The center crossbar under the mattress was damaged, a piece of wood was simply broken off, I had to glue it back and wait 2 days for the glue to completely harden before I could start assembling.

The worst buy I made for its price I would expect it to be in great conditions! It came defective the head board is stained with black mark and it’s all chipped ! I will for sure not order from Wayfair !

Love this bed! It looks very elegant, and the foundation is the most sturdy, rock-solid of any bed I've ever owned! Don't pay attention to the negative reviews--these are people who clearly do not understand that whenever you purchase a large piece of furniture, at a great price, with free delivery, the tradeoff is that, yes, you will have to spend some time putting it together and, yes, that will be frustrating. As a guy who is reasonably handy and competent, I seem to ALWAYS put something together upside down or backwards, then I have to go back and undo/redo some or all of the assembly. But I put this bed together alone with little difficulty in about an hour. Likewise, whenever something big and heavy is delivered via Fed Ex or similar courier, you are not getting "white glove deliver," so there is always a chance that something will arrive scratched, dented, or broken. Mine did not, but I completely understand that it happens sometimes. But that is in no way an indictment on the item itself, Wayfair, or the manufacturer. It's like ordering food at McDonald's...there is always a chance they will get your order wrong, or give you lousy fries, or whatever. But you go anyways bc you're getting cheap, fast food, that tastes good. If you temper your expectations accordingly, you will be satisfied with the experience 90+% of the time.
