The table is just okay. When it is not expanded, the two halves don't line up to make a smooth surface. One side is sightly higher than the other. The bigger problem is that it arrived with cosmetic damage as well. There was a large scratch across the surface and a smaller chip out of the edge. The biggest problem was customer service. I ordered the table and was told it would be delivered in 3 weeks. When I called to schedule delivery, I was informed that the table was "lost in shipping" and a replacement would be ordered for delivery in another 3 weeks. Eventually the original table reappeared, and delivery was scheduled between 9 and 4 (when deliveries are permitted in my building). I got a text at 5:30 am on day of delivery saying it would come at 7:30 am (when deliveries are not permitted). When I called to reschedule to the original time frame, they just cancelled my delivery entirely. It took many hours of my time with customer service to get the delivery made. Then when it arrived damaged, they would not replace the item and take away the damaged item. Again, many hours of frustrating time on the phone with customer service being given incorrect information. Worst customer service ever! There are similar tables available at a similar price from retailers that stand by their products and work with customers to correct damage issues when they arrive.

I really like its Midcentury style, but as other reviewers have noted, it arrived with some damage to one of the outer edges (dropped or just fragile?). Since I am mainly using it as a study/work table for some very messy (and often careless) grandkids, I'm not too concerned and will probably just gently glue/hammer it down and throw a tablecloth on top (not optimal for special dinner guests, but I didn't discover the damage until I unpacked it two and a half months later). Other than that, a nice design and very sturdy. It's expandable feature is a plus once you figure it out (see note below). PLEASE TAKE NOTE!: The table comes with a metal frame attached to the bottom (shipping supports?). You MUST unscrew and remove the metal frame underneath in order to open the table and use the expansion feature!! This is NOT in the cryptic instructions so be aware!

Table is great! Sturdy and clean lines. Butterfly leaf is easy to use

5 stars for the table, 3 stars for the “white glove” delivery. Delivery guys set everything up nice but didn’t know how the table worked or that there were bolts holding everything in place for transport. I had to figure it out myself.

It appeared to be a very good quality chair. The fabric seemed very durable. They just didn't seem to work in our kitchen and are probably better suited in an office environment.
