Chaise longue, chaise longue flottante classique, appui-tête amovible, chaise longue en similicuir, noir

This chaise is super-comfortable. I wanted to try out this style before I sprung for an expensive dupe (the real thing is out of my price range LOL). I bought it for a reading chair, and it's amazing for that, with the one drawback that it's so comfortable it puts me to sleep! If you want to elevate sore feet above your heart, this'll do it! But it does have a defect: the bolt holes where the instructions show to attach the support bar to the top of the legs was drilled into the BOTTOM of the legs. When I reported it to Wayfair and asked for a replacement part, they first told me that it didn't actually need that third bolt hole shown in the instructions and sent me a picture of another chaise that ALSO has the bolt hole drilled on the underside. Without the top bolt hole, the legs bow out towards the head and foot, putting strain on the side bolts and making the seat harder to adjust smoothly. It also keeps the feet from sitting square on the floor and makes them tend to scootch on hard floors, which is why I put down rug samples to protect my hardwood. So basically, yes, it does really need that top bolt hole. The manufacturer was unwilling or unable to send replacement parts. Unless they've corrected this defect at the factory, you'll need to either drill a new bolt hole yourself, or just live with the reduced durability. Wayfair did discount the item for me when I complained, which is why I'm changing my review from one star to four. I don't mind drilling two holes for a discounted price.

It’s a lovely chair. I took off a star because it came damaged. Will have to talk to wayfair about this. Also, leather looks pretty cheap. But for a dupe it’s great. Will be using this as my reading chair

The chair is extremely comfortable and provides therapeutic relief keeping my hips from stiffening when sitting for long periods. I appreciate the mid-century design and the chair gets compliments from my guests.

Easy to assemble and well done

Better than the picture. Highly recommend! Sturdy, comfortable and easy to assemble.
