I had to return this item. The chair legs were uneven and the leather upholstery covered some of the predrilled holes necessary for assembly. Also, while the seats looked substantial and well padded, the seat box was actually hollow so there was very little padding. I bought these chairs in no small part because of the good reviews, so I wanted to share a different perspective.

Beautiful leather and contemporary design but I had to return them because I just can't build them.

Very comfortable. I like high back. However, not easy to install with the tools provided. We had to use electric drills. One leg came cracked. Request for replacement was submitted
