Commode décorative 4 tiroirs Ordway

Not my favorite purchase but it does the job. Very rustic finish and the drawers are very shallow. Good enough for what I am using it for but would not purchase again if I had realized the flat paint and non-sealed wood finish.

Well, the shell or outside casement of this chest is very solid but the drawers are disappointing. There are large knots in the pine and the drawers are not sturdy even when well assembled. The finish is strange. It's like it was varnished and then left in a smoke filled room. There's a smokey film in the finish and it doesn't come off with furniture rub or cleaner. Overall I am disappointed.

Instructions are vague. I had to go back and "reverse engineer" a couple of steps. The stain on wood is a dirty used look. Nothing like the pics for it online. It comes darker especially along the edges than the pics. And a dowel punched a portion of wood out of the side. It states real pine wood but questionable at best. Too much trouble to send back but should have gone with another dresser with reviews.

Beautiful when finished but lots of parts to begin with.

Love the overall look of this dresser! - it did come with small chip, which is overlooked because it is for children’s room. Assembly was a little more complicated than it should be due to lack of clear instructions. Sliding drawers feels like it needs a sand as it is unfinished wood, on unfinished wood but this works for what we need it for.
