While I was initially excited about this chair, after assembling it I was quite disappointed for the following reasons: 1. The chair arrived with numerous nicks, dents, and scratches in the wooden panels. Because of the high contrast between the black cushions and the wooden panels, the damaged areas become very pronounced and nearly impossible to overlook. 2. There were multiple areas on the wooden panels that were so poorly sanded that we got splinters during assembly. They make the chair rough and unpleasant to the touch. 3. The wooden panels does not look as they appear in the picture, rather they are a drab gray color that is cold and uninviting. 4. The chair is packaged in such a way that you have to destroy the box to unpack it This makes returning it exceptionally difficult if not impossible. As for the positives, the chair feels sturdy overall and the leather cushioning is firm (which is my preference.) I voiced my concerns to Wayfair who are thankfully sending me some replacement parts. At this time, however, I would rate this chair as a "do not buy," even at a sub-$250 price point.

Missing half the screws needed to put it together!!!!

Unfortunately the chairs tilt back in an uncomcorale angle and without a headrest (even though it was it had one) they are lovely chairs to look at but impossible to sit in. We had graet hopes for the chairs but in the end had to send them back.
